Delicious pan pizza. The dough had tooth to it, and the crust was crispy and flavorful. Beer (mostly from El Segundo brewing who owns this establishment) but there are others and a variety of wines to choose from too. I'd go back for the late night hunger pang I had.

It’s a local favorite but I wouldn’t go back. Before reading on, I didn’t have any pizza. If you do come here, it has a great atmosphere with plenty of out door seating along with a bar. They have a good selection of beers on tap and wine. The food was blah. The wings were very over cooked and I thinking they pulled them off a hen. They just weren’t good. The calamari was decent but it didn’t have that crispy shell you would expect. Very forgettable but it would be rad to get a beer here after a surf at Porto.

I'm not sure why everyone told me to go here. This has to be some of the worst pizza I have ever had. There was no flavor to to dough and the sauce tasted canned. The pepperonis were loaded with little cups of oil making the whole thing taste like bad grease. The cheese must be some bulk cheap cheese because it had solidified by the time it got to my table. Domino's pizza is better than this and that is not saying much. Let's talk about the pint aspect now. This beer is supposed to come from the local brewery in town but it tastes like it sat on a shipping dock in the heat for the last few weeks. I'm not sure why home brewers decide to start brewing commercially when it is obvious that they have no clue what good beer tastes like. If you're trying to give Budweiser a run for their money you had better get back to the drawing board and learn how to make a descent beer. Service was slow and it took forever to get my food. The atmosphere was plain and boring. I recommend any other place in town but this one.

I visited this place for takeout on a busy Thursday night. I ordered 2 pizzas which took about an hour to be ready. This makes sense, since it was busy and my only complaint here is the price. I ordered the Vegan pizza which was $30. The vegan pizza doesn’t have any cheese on it and no meat toppings so not sure why it would be $5-$8 more than a a normal pie. Overall, it seems like a great place to hangout and the staff were friendly.

As someone who has traveled backpacking through Italy twice, my standards for pizza are pretty high it's very hard to get a good pizza in the US. Most places cover them with strong sauces and a bunch of flavorful overwhelming topings. A good pizza starts with a nice sauce and good cheese, but the most important ingredient is a nice crust. And let me tell you, this pizza delivered all of them. The crust was amazing. I haven't eaten the hole crust since my last Italy trip. Service was fast, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was good too. Super busy during our time there. We travel to LA all the time for business, and I for sure will return and will recommend The Slice & Pint to all colleagues and friends.

Located in downtown El Segundo! I believe that pizza is hugely defined by its crust and this place delivers !!! We are vegetarian and love the grand avenue. A bit spicy but with their homemade ranch it is AMAZING. The beer selection is also super great! They partner with El segundo brewery so have a lot of local drinks but also have a few others and some wine selections. Highly recommend this place!!! Also the service is top notch :)

I liked the food—the cheese pizza was simple but pretty much perfectly cooked and had a well-balanced flavor. The chop salad was really nice and fresh. The hazy IPA I had was pretty tasty too! So, they did great with the food. The staff was also on point and friendly. They let me just hang out for a while as I was waiting to pick up a friend from LAX. I’m really only taking a star off primarily because of the price, but also because the ordering system is quite awkward, and you can tell the staff are annoyed by it themselves. The prices are pretty high. I felt like for $10, I should get at least a salad that you could call a meal—I mean, this salad was super good, but it probably only cost $1 to make, maybe less. The ordering system is this: you pick a table, remember the table number, then go to the front and order using that table number. Seems straightforward but in practice it’s awkward since people either just seat themselves and anticipate a waiter/waitress or go straight to the counter without having looked at a table. This isn’t supposed to be a nuclear haranguing of their ordering system but I just wanted to explain the awkwardness in detail.
